Amphibian Foundation

The Amphibian Foundation (AF) is committed to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in science, STEM, conservation, wildlife, and just being outdoors and enjoying nature. Applicants are considered eligible if they identify as belonging to an underrepresented or marginalized group, though the majority of our funding sources prioritize support for women and racial minorities.

GA Urban Ecologist Program

for Youth in Grades 8-12

Georgia Urban Ecologists is for youth in grades 8 through 12. This school-year long program will guide students in the discovery of the fascinating, rich ecology of Georgia, providing opportunities for hands-on field experiences and fun with their peers. Perfect for students interested in pursuing careers in science or conservation or those who just enjoy being outside in nature, the Georgia Urban Ecologists program provides students with opportunities to learn alongside experts in the field, as well as meaningful experiences in the outdoor places.

Women Divers Hall of Fame

(not just for women)

The Women Divers Hall of Fame ™ (WDHOF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring and raising awareness of the contributions of outstanding women divers. WDHOF provides educational, mentorship, financial, and career opportunities to the diving community throughout the world. Each year, WDHOF awards scholarships and training grants that provide financial and educational support to individuals of all ages.

CUES 

Chicago Undersea Explorers Society

CUES’s goal is to make scuba accessible to everyone, especially historically excluded groups. Whether you have always wanted to dive or you’ve only recently discovered this sport, we are here to help you get certified! Our scholarships are both need and merit based, and they are open to anyone that needs an extra boost.

American Association of Fish Veterinarians

Each year, the American Association of Fish Veterinarians (AAFV) offers several scholarships to support students and new graduate members to increase their understanding and involvement in fish veterinary medicine.

Bossart Memorial Scholarship 

Dr. Gregory D. Bossart Memorial One Health Scholarship

A $5,000 USD Dr. Greg Bossart Memorial Scholarship is available to a graduate student in wildlife biology, epidemiology, veterinary, medical, public health, basic or social sciences or other post-graduate program focusing on the interconnection between people, animals, plants, and their shared environment using a One Health framework.

Brett Dodson ADPA DSO Scholarship

The Brett Dodson ADPA DSO Scholarship helps to fund a new zoo or aquarium Dive Safety Officer to attend the annual Association of Dive Program Administrators' Symposium & Training Day

AZA Professional Development Scholarships

Association of Zoos & Aquariums

AZA Professional Development Scholarships are available to Individual AZA Members - with the exception of the Disney Diversity Advancement Scholarship highlighted below - and may be used towards AZA Professional Development courses. Scholarships are available to cover the costs associated with AZA Professional Development course registration fees, meals, lodging, and travel to attend the course. Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis each fall for use in the following calendar year.

Disney Diversity Advancement Scholarship

Members of an underrepresented group who are employed full-time in an AZA-accredited or related facility in any country may apply. Applicants to the Disney Diversity Advancement Scholarship do not have to be AZA Individual Members in order to apply. Applicants may only submit one (1) AZA scholarship application per year. The scholarship may be applied toward any AZA Professional Development course, or the AZA Mid-Year Meeting or Annual Conference.
